Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
